Behavioral Other

This was an on-campus interview that lasted about 30 minutes. It was mostly personal questions with a bit of behavioral and no technical questions. The recruiter was super nice and friendly, but I couldn't really tell how I did afterwards.

It was a pretty standard interview process, just a few rounds. I talked to HR, then my direct manager, and finally a senior manager. The HR team kept me in the loop, which was nice.

The interview process was okay at first. It was clear the recruiter didn't actually read my resume. I followed up after about 2.5 weeks about my application status and was told I'd hear back soon. I said thank you and that I was looking forward to it. Now, a month and a half later, I think I've been ghosted. It's a shame because I was interested, but I'll never apply there again. I've found a job elsewhere, but this ghosting thing is really annoying and unprofessional. Especially if you're a recruiter, you'd think a simple courtesy email saying 'we've gone a different direction' wouldn't be too much to ask. With AI, sending emails is quick, even to multiple people, so it shouldn't take much time.

Behavioral Technical

I had a phone interview where they asked some basic questions, and it was pretty casual. Then, they scheduled another interview via Teams, which I felt went well. Although I was hoping for more power industry experience, they were looking for candidates with skills in systems and controls. Overall, I think Zeeco is a good and interesting company to consider applying to.
