First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Zebra Technologies.
Intern
So I did a self-recorded video interview first, and it had 5 behavioral questions. Then, about two weeks later, I had a phone screening where they asked about my understanding of the company and my skills. The last part was a 60-minute panel interview. This one really focused on how genuinely interested I am in the industry and my past experiences from my resume. They also asked technical questions about my previous projects/internships and stuff specific to the role. The interviewers were super responsive and made me feel welcome.
- What are your career goals for the next 2-3 years?
Intern
You start by sending in your application online and we check your resume to see if you're a good fit. Then, there's a preliminary interview, either by phone or video, where we chat about your background, how you communicate, and if you'd fit our company culture. If it's a technical role, you might have to do an online test or assignment to show off your skills. After that, you'll have panel interviews. These include behavioral interviews where we'll ask about your past experiences and how you solve problems, and technical interviews focusing on stuff specific to the job. Lastly, you'll have a final interview with senior managers or team leads to talk about if you're a good match and what projects you might work on.
- What makes you want to join our company?
Intern
The hiring process at Zebra Tech was good. The interviewer focused on my core computer science knowledge and my passion for the field. The overall interview process was smooth. However, I disliked the talent acquisition member's uncooperative behavior; even though the interviewer was calling us for the interview, they said things like "don't stand here." I don't remember most of it due to interview pressure.
- Could you explain what the Network Layer is?
- What is Object-Oriented Programming (OOPs)?
