Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Zayo.
Product Analyst
There were three phone interviews and then one in-person meeting. It was a pretty simple interview process. They didn't ask too many technical questions, mostly they wanted to learn more about you. A few questions touched on basic financial terms, but nothing too complex.
- Could you define IRR?
Product Analyst
I met the recruiter at the Career Fair, they gave me some info and then followed up the next day. After that, I had a phone interview, then an interview with someone who used to be in this role, and then an interview with the manager and the team. There were also some follow-up phone conversations and emails.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- Describe your experience working with large Excel files.
- How do you approach task prioritization and time management?
Product Analyst
It was pretty relaxed. I was led to a conference room and three different interviewers rotated in for about 30 minutes each. They asked me about my resume, my interests, and threw in some general behavioral questions. Everyone was really friendly and conversational. The office was really modern and clean, and it looked like people enjoyed working there. Some folks were dressed very casually, and I felt like I was a bit overdressed for the interview.
- Can you share an instance where you enhanced operational efficiency?
