I applied and then had to wait a bit before setting up the interview location. When I got there and waited, I found out the interviewer wasn't even there. It was a waste of my time. They should have at least had the courtesy to call to reschedule. This really sets up a franchise for a bad employee experience.

The interview process was quick and simple. I didn't start at Zaxby's as a manager, I actually started as a cook and worked my way up. Be sure to dress nicely and have a flexible schedule. If you're serious about getting the job, you need to ask to speak with the manager. Also, avoid going in to talk to a manager between 12-2 PM and 6-8 PM, as this is a red flag that they won't hire you.

the whole process was drawn out and complicated, lasting weeks and then months. It was very disorganized. I wasn't given all the information upfront and had to talk to several people to get answers to my questions. There was a lot of fine print and new information provided only after I was hired. They weren't very forthcoming about what the job is really like.
