Social Media Consultant
There are three steps in this interview process. The first step is a face-to-face meeting, followed by a presentation about the company. The whole first day takes about an hour. If they like you, they'll call you to schedule a second interview. The second step involves "shadowing" an employee for about 30 minutes, listening to their calls to see if the job is a good fit for you. You won't interact much as they're working, but you might get to ask a question or two. Afterward, you'll discuss your observations and the position/company in more detail. You might get an offer on the spot or be asked back for another round. After the first interview day, there's a homework assignment where you call in to answer three questions (or maybe just one, can't recall), which is part of the selection process. Most employees are young, between 18-25, with only a few older individuals in HR/Management.
- Tell me about your past work experience.
- Do you find it easy to adhere to a script?
- Are you open to coaching and training?

The hiring process involves a recruiter who initially introduces the company and its core values. Following this, candidates must leave a voicemail pitching themselves as an asset to the company, emphasizing voice quality. The second interview includes listening to cold calls for about 40 minutes, followed by an hour-long discussion with a sales manager about the role, basic interview questions, and sales metrics. A subsequent round involves another session of listening to cold calls, after which a job offer is extended.
- Are you able to commit to working here for at least a year?
Sales Representative
Z57 has a three step interview process. First is a group interview with a company presentation about the company and the job. No questions are asked here. Second interview is solo, starts with 30-45 minutes shadowing a sales rep on the phone. You need to read a script and do mock sales calls. Then you have an actual interview. Last interview is usually when they make a job offer.
- Remember to call the office and leave a message for the interviewer after your second interview.

Had an informational chat first, then two interviews. After that, I shadowed a rep, listening in on their calls. You might have to do this shadowing thing a few times. And if you don't like what you see during the shadowing, it's definitely not the right move to keep going. Then they left a voicemail saying why I'm a good fit. Then the offer came.
- What would you do if this specific situation happened?
