Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Yves Saint Laurent.
Sales Assistant
First there's a phone call, then soon after we set up a meeting and within about a week you get feedback. After that, we ask the usual questions about a strength and a weakness, how you handle criticism and stressful situations.
- Are you familiar with the values and mission of Yves Saint Laurent?
- What is a strength of yours?
- What is a weakness of yours?
Sales Supervisor
The interview process was pretty straightforward. I got a recruiter call one week, then a FaceTime interview with the recruiter the following week. After that, I had an in-person interview with the store director of a different location and the regional director. The in-person interview was scheduled for an hour but only lasted about 15 minutes.
- Do you have previous retail experience?
Sales Professional
I had a chat with the hiring manager, which was pretty straightforward. They asked me about my past experience and some hypothetical situations. They also wanted to learn more about me and my background. After that, I met with a general manager.
- What was your revenue generation at your last role in luxury real estate?
