Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Yum! Brands.
Senior Manager
It was a 5 round process. Started with a recruiter screen, then I spoke with the hiring manager, then the CTO, then the team as a whole, and then the hiring manager again. Scheduling was a bit tricky at times.
- Would you be open to participating in on-call rotations?
- Can you share an example of a time you managed an employee who wasn't meeting expectations?
Senior Manager
I spoke with the VP and HR VP, and also met with a peer Sr Manager. Each interview was about an hour long. The whole process took about 2 months from resume to offer, mostly because I was on vacation for a bit and the HR VP was traveling a lot.
- Tell me about your past experience.
- What are your goals for the next 5 years?
- What are your goals for the next 10 years?
Manager
The hiring and interview process was super long and thorough. The GM who was hiring me was really upfront about what they were looking for. However, after I was hired, the job description and who I reported to both changed.
- Can you give me a description of yourself?
- What are your work ethics and innovation skills?
