First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Yum! Brands.
Intern
There were 2 interviews, one with HR and a technical round, which was of medium difficulty. I spoke with 2 different people, but the HR person was the same for both. They asked a lot about the company. The people were friendly.
- Can you tell me about the equity and franchise stores?
Public Affairs Intern
The applicant, a local to the city they applied in, had an initial Skype interview. This was followed by three in-person interviews, each lasting 45 minutes. A 45-minute building tour was also part of the process. The corporate building had many amenities like a gym, food court, and daycare. Interviewers were nice and friendly, and the interviews felt more like conversations. Each interviewer had a list of questions, and some questions were repeated by different interviewers. They were looking for specific answers and cultural fit. A thank you email was sent. They expected to hear back the following week but after not hearing by the end of the week, another follow-up email was sent. The start date was the beginning of June and it was currently June 4th, almost three weeks since the in-person interviews with no response.
- How do you handle conflicts with coworkers?
Intern
The interview process was really smooth and pleasant! The interviewers were fantastic, providing thorough explanations of their roles and what they were looking for. They were also super quick to reply to any emails.
- Can you describe your experience with new product development?
