They start with a phone interview, and if that goes well, you come in for a face-to-face. For the one-on-one, you need to prep a short PowerPoint and email it. Then, you'll do a 'side jack' where you listen to a rep make cold calls, read a script, and then talk about your sales skills and answer general interview questions.

Behavioral Presentation

The interview kicked off with some phone calls with the recruiter. Then, I was invited for an in-person interview. They asked me straightforward questions about online marketing and my past work. I also had to do a phone presentation where I had to sell water to the interviewer. They really wanted to see if I could identify needs and conduct a good analysis. I got the job offer about 10 minutes after that.

  • Demonstrate how you would build pain and conduct a needs analysis to sell me water.

The initial phone call was brief, mostly covering questions about my current job. After that, they invited me for an in-person interview. This second interview focused on learning about Yodle, checking how I felt about cold calling, handling tough customers, and making over 200 calls daily. The interviewer was dressed casually and the conversation was very relaxed and natural, not at all stiff.
