First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at YM Inc..
Sales Associate
The interview process was pretty chill and friendly. They asked stuff about sales and how to deal with customers. There were questions about what you'd do in certain customer service situations and general behavioural questions. You can expect the whole thing to take about 1-2 weeks.
- Can you introduce yourself and tell us about your previous experience in retail sales?
- Have you worked in a retail sales environment before?
Sales Associate
The interview had many retail-specific questions about personality, critical thinking, and organization. It was a smooth process and the interviewer took notes while I was talking. Even though I didn't have prior experience, I got hired.
- What's your approach to maintaining a retail section?
Sales Associate
The hiring manager called me in for an interview pretty much immediately. When I got there, they were on time and made me feel pretty relaxed. The questions weren't too tough, and if I got something wrong, they'd explain the right answer and why. It was a good experience overall, like a 9 out of 10.
- Imagine you're at the cash register and a new customer needs a fitting room. Then, another customer asks for help finding a shirt, someone else needs you to open the door for a new shipment, and finally, another person needs help finding a different size. What's your order of operations for handling all these requests?
