So I had a couple rounds plus a take-home test. The first round was about a half hour with the team manager. After that, I had a take-home assessment. The last round had 3 interviews, each split into segments. The first part was a group video call with some employees, which was a bit much for me and not my preferred interview style. Then, I met with the senior engineer and walked her through my take-home solution. The final part was pair programming where I had to add more features to my take-home project.

We started with an initial call where they explained the company's work and the job details. They also looked over my resume and previous projects. After that, I got a take-home assignment that should take about an hour, and I had a week to finish it. The first round was pair programming where we reviewed the take-home assignment and possibly added more to it. It ended with some behavioral questions. The second round was also pair programming, continuing to build on the take-home assignment, and it also concluded with behavioral questions. Then there was a behavioral interview with three interviewers. After that, references were checked. Finally, they made an offer. The whole thing took about a month, and everyone was really nice. The pair-programming interviewers were particularly realistic and friendly.

The interview process included an initial screening, a follow-up screening with an engineering director, a take-home assignment, and a final round featuring a pair programming interview and a behavioral interview. The entire process spanned approximately 4 weeks, though it could have been expedited based on my availability. Generally, the experience was quite positive, with excellent communication throughout. All interviewers were pleasant and engaging. The recruiter provided clear expectations for each stage and promptly addressed any inquiries. While the process was a bit drawn out, this is typical for comparable Software Engineer roles.
