Behavioral Technical Presentation

This was a really long and dishonest interview process. The longest part was a take-home assignment that they used Greenhouse ATS software to grade. The whole thing felt dishonest and like they didn't respect applicants' time, especially since they claimed my answers were wrong and detected AI use (even though I triple-checked and didn't use any AI), saying it was detected up to 80%. The instructions said feedback could take up to a week, but I submitted on Friday night and got feedback by Monday, which makes me think a human didn't even look at it, which is ironic given they accused me of using AI. When I asked for more specific feedback than just 'Definitely not' and 'wrong answers' without explanation, they wouldn't give any real arguments or useful advice. Overall, it felt unprofessional and dishonest.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • Standard behavioral and CV-related questions were asked in the first interview.
  • There was a take-home assignment which included a question based on a graph, EDA questions on a dataset, and a 3-minute video to comment on key findings of a report they provided.

Technical Case Behavioral

Interviewed in may~june/2024. The whole thing took about 3 weeks. Started with HR, then a simple data analysis assessment (heads up, it's a spoiler for the last interview!). After that, there were 3 more interviews, one with the Product Owner and the final one with a specialist. The last interview included a use case exercise to see if my skills fit the role. Mine was about figuring out why web scraping retail sites for profit data isn't accurate. I messed it up 'cause I don't shop online much. It was a wasted chance. It was the most human interview process ever, they kept me updated, replied fast, and gave feedback at each step. Their care was unforgettable, and I regret not passing.

Confirmed questions3 questions
  • Can you share an instance of failure and how you managed to overcome it?
  • Tell me about a time you had a disagreement with a coworker.
  • Describe a situation where you felt proud of your accomplishment and the outcome.

The recruiting team was nice, but the technical team seemed rigid and focused on specific answers, not critical thinking or work quality. I felt relieved to be rejected, as growth seemed unlikely in such an environment, especially given negative feedback from current/former employees. The process was long and had 5 stages: a pre-screen with an assignment, a 30-minute call, a complex take-home assignment (which was time-consuming and reviewed late), a long interview, and references. They asked more questions and ad-hoc analysis after the take-home, eventually rejecting me for a supposedly "incorrect" logical answer. Be ready to find their specific "correct" answers.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • On a scale of 1-10, how would your current manager rate your performance?
  • How would your current manager feel about you leaving the company?
