So the first thing was a take-home data assignment, then I had an interview with the head of research, and the last round involved another take-home data and writing assignment. Overall, it was a good process, and if you like using data to tell stories, you'll probably enjoy it.

Applied and got an informal call interview, which went well. Then, I was asked to do a 'role play' client mock call and a 'take home assignment' where I had to rank client accounts by importance. I got negative feedback because I didn't end the call the 'Yipit' way and lost points on the take-home for using quantitative measures, which caused Excel errors due to a different version used by the interviewer. It was a big waste of time.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • It was a mock client call where the interviewer pretended to be a hedge fund analyst, and the goal was to evaluate my skill in building rapport with the analyst, understanding their priorities, and identifying opportunities to increase value and adoption within their team and across our client base.

You don’t meet with a recruiter for a screening, they have you do an assignment right away so you can’t discuss salary or anything. It’s an EXTREMELY long interview process (over a month) and takes a lot of time from the candidate. Therefore, it’s very disheartening to be eliminated when you put so much work into their “assignments.” Seems like a cool company though with nice people so that part was good. Short take home assignment 1st round interview Take home case assignment 2nd round case review interview Final round interview
