I went through 3 interviews with the Recruiter, CPO, and CEO. They were all pretty conversational, and I felt like I got a good sense of the company culture, the specific role, and some of the bigger business objectives. In the end, they decided not to move forward because I didn't have enough industry experience. The whole process was very respectful, even the personal call explaining why they weren't proceeding. I really enjoyed talking with everyone and would suggest interviewing here if you get the chance.

The process started with an internal recruiter reaching out about the role. Then, I had interviews with an executive team member. This person had some issues, like canceling the first meeting two minutes before it was scheduled, not showing up for the second scheduled time, and being 10 minutes late for the third. After all that, a few days later, I got an automated response saying I wasn't moving forward, but it was signed by someone who doesn't even work there. I never got any feedback on why I didn't get the job. Honestly, I wouldn't tell anyone to bother with this company.

The interview process was pretty fast and straightforward. It had 5 steps. First, a call with the People and Talent Associate, which was informative and answered all my questions. Then, a call with the VP of Product and Technology, where I got insights into Yieldmo's products and the Data Science Intern role. I briefly discussed my experience and got an SQL take-home test. Next was an SQL screening with 6 mid-level difficulty questions. Finally, there was a 3-part, 30-minute interview session. The first part was a technical round with the VP of Products and Technology focusing on problem-solving. The second was with the Principal Data Scientist about my past experience and data science solutions. The last part was with the General Manager, a conversation about Yieldmo's work and how they do it, where I shared my experience and interests. The outcome was announced very quickly after each stage, which was impressive.

The interview process took a couple weeks and was a great experience. There are a few rounds: - Phone screen - laid back conversation about the experience, role, company, expectations etc - Coding challenge - typical DS/Algo challenge similar to many hackerrank/leetcode types of questions - Pair programming session - again the focus is put on DS/algo and you just need to solve a couple algos - Behavioral/culture fit - casual conversation about your past experiences, different situations and how you handled them Due to the current virus situation, Yieldmo has a hiring freeze which started in the middle of my interview process. I was informed about it right away (they are very transparent and communicative). I was still given a chance to complete the interview process and I have received a positive feedback, but could not get an offer due to the current hiring freeze.
