Behavioral

My interview experience wasn't the best. The recruiter seemed uninterested from the get-go. She asked if I'd researched the company, and upon my affirmative response, didn't provide much info about the role before asking if I had questions. When I did ask, she wasn't very responsive, giving only generic and vague answers. It felt like they'd already selected someone else and were just interviewing me to fill a slot. I would have preferred a cancellation or rejection over this.

I had a standard phone screening with a recruiter, followed by an interview with the hiring manager. They were both really nice and professional. I actually withdrew my application later on for personal reasons, but I would consider interviewing with Yext again in the future!

First, I had a call with HR about the job and hiring steps. Then, a 45-minute language call with a manager where I had to do a use case and write an email responding to a client complaint. After that, a 45-minute technical call with a senior support specialist, where we shared screens and I navigated the Yext platform to find, change, and update info. Finally, a 1-hour fit interview with the Support team manager.

  • Respond to a client's complaint via email, based on a given use case.
  • Demonstrate proficiency on the Yext platform by finding, changing, and updating information while sharing your screen.
  • Engage in a fit interview with the Support team manager.
