First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Yext.
Sales
The process was well put together. The recruiter in charge kept me in the loop and gave me great prep for all the interviews. There were 7 interviews: first with the internal recruiter, then the direct boss, followed by a "behavioral interview", then the boss's boss (an area VP), then a future coworker, next was a presentation about Yext to the Yext team, and finally the head of sales.

Enterprise Sales
Applied through a connection via a previous employer's recommendation for Yext. After sending a cover letter and resume, HR contacted me to schedule a phone screening. The first phone call was with an HR recruiter. After that, I had 2 more in-depth phone calls with a Sales Manager and the President of the company. Both calls were very conversational and behavioral. There were typical behavioral questions and questions about my resume. However, the biggest focus was on the "fit." Yext really values smart and social people who fit the culture.
- Can you describe certain sections of your resume?
Sales
Nice people but the process was slow and uninformative. I still haven't received feedback from the last interview, which was 3 months ago. I've never seen anything like it, so I'm not sure what to think. It's quite surprising for a company with such a good reputation.
