The interview had two parts: a video call and an initial screening. First, I spoke with an HR recruiter based in Texas, and then I had a meeting with the store manager at the specific location. It was a really straightforward process, and the people I met were very friendly and easy to talk to.

The whole hiring process was super fast, and everyone I talked to was really professional. Since I'm not local, they made it easy by using Skype for everything. I started with a 30-minute screening that had all the usual first-interview questions. We set up the next one for a few days later right at the end of that call. The second interview was a panel with six people over Skype, lasting about an hour. It was cool to meet a bunch of different folks from the company and get a better feel for who I'd be working with and what the job was about. They offered me the job the very next day. I visited the office the week after that, so the whole thing took about a week and a half. Seeing the office and meeting more people made me even more impressed with YETI. Everyone seems to really love their jobs and the company culture. Even though I had to turn down the offer a couple of weeks later because of family stuff, which was a really tough decision, the hiring manager was super understanding when I called. They're really great people there. Overall, YETI was a fantastic place to interview with and would've been awesome to work for. If they ever open up in Chicagoland, I'm applying again!

After submitting my application online, I was contacted and set up a phone screening with the recruiter. She provided a lot of details and explained the job very well. A couple weeks later, I had in-office interviews and a tour. They provided breakfast, gave a tour, we chatted with some employees and other potential intern candidates, and I had two interviews with people. It lasted about four hours.
