Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at YER.
Senior Consultant
The interview process has been really smooth and the people were nice. It seems like a professional recruitment company that connects professionals with high-profile companies. I'll see how it goes further to get hired.
- Why do you want to move to the Netherlands?
Consultant
The process took over 4 months, and I had to constantly ask for feedback or updates. I wasn't kept informed about the process, and each time there was a different excuse why the appointment wasn't kept. The communication was very unclear, and I felt like I was being strung along. It's very unprofessional to expect exclusivity from the candidate's side, but then constantly fail to keep your appointments. I mentioned this twice, but eventually, it's too much for me. I stopped the process myself.
- How would your family and friends describe you?
Consultant
First there was telephone contact, followed by an initial meeting. It was very personal to see if there was a connection. If it was positive from both sides, there would be a follow-up conversation delving deeper into your competencies and ambition.
