The interview process involved three rounds. First, a phone call with HR. Second, there was an assignment to complete. The third and final round was a Google Meet interview with the Community Manager. They were very supportive and transparent throughout the process.

I applied online via LinkedIn and got a phone interview request within a couple of days for the next week. The phone interview was pretty relaxed, mainly seemed to confirm my resume and cover letter. My cover letter apparently made a good impression. Then I was invited for an in-person interview within two weeks with a regional director who came to my city. This was at a local restaurant and also pretty casual, with the current Community Manager present. I was really prepared and even had some questions and answers they hadn't thought of. Late the evening after that, I got an email asking me to attend an elite event the very next day. After the event, I had a Skype interview the following week with a higher-up, possibly the VP of Marketing. This interview was more challenging, focusing on my knowledge of the city, my experience, and my plan for my first elite event as CM. Things slowed down after that – a week of deliberation, then another week because decision-makers were on vacation. About two and a half weeks after that interview, on a Tuesday, I received an email saying the job was offered to someone else. Overall, it was a thorough and pleasant experience that felt very relevant to the Community Manager role.

After a phone screening, they had me come in for an in-person interview, but then they cancelled it. I then spoke with a manager who actually ended the call early. The interview questions were pretty easy and things seemed to go well. Both interviewers said they'd get back to me within the week. I never heard back from them, and they ignored my two follow-up attempts. It was a pretty bad experience, and I was really annoyed about never getting a response.
