First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at YASH Technologies.
Software Developer
It was a 3 round process. First was DSA and CSE fundamentals. Second was about projects and managerial questions. Third was the HR round. The interview was average, the interviewer spoke nicely and explained everything, and listened curiously. It felt more like a discussion than an interview.
- A DSA question based on trees and arrays.
Software Engineer Trainee
Applied through on-campus and the whole thing took about 4 months. First, there was an Online Assessment with 2 coding questions, around 70 questions total covering Algorithms, Data Structures, and CS Fundamentals. Then, a Group Discussion. After that, a Technical Interview where I had to pick between Java and Python, and they asked coding questions, sorting and searching algorithms, and stuff based on my resume. Finally, an HR Interview asking about family background and why I want to do Software Engineering. Just a heads-up, you could pass all rounds and still not get the job.
- Can you implement a searching algorithm in Python or Java?
- What is list comprehension in Python and how is it used?
- Could you explain the different phases involved in Data Science?
Senior Software Engineer
It was a three round interview process. The first and second rounds focused on technical skills. They asked about Java 8, Spring Boot, React Redux, REST APIs, Spring Boot annotations, and Java 8 coding scenarios. After that, there was an HR discussion round.
- Regarding Java 8, how would you create a list of Employee objects, given that each Employee has roles, and then find the list of employees based on those roles? Cover core Java and Java 8.
- Can you explain some concepts related to REST APIs and how to use RestTemplate?
- Could you discuss Spring Boot annotations and walk through some Java 8 coding scenarios?
