I think they scheduled my interview at the end of the day. I realized during the interview that this job wasn't a good fit for me. It was surprising to me that the senior executives seemed unaware of the technologies being used behind the scenes.

I had a Teams meeting with the department manager and an HR rep that was about 15-20 minutes. First, I talked about myself, then my motivations, my school schedule, and how I'd balance school and the internship during the semester.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

The hiring process took about two months which felt too long, and honestly, it seemed like they didn't really care about candidates' time, especially those who made it to the final stage. In my last meeting, the director seemed to brush off my contributions, even though they asked me questions that weren't even related to the data analyst role. It was pretty clear they didn't appreciate that I'd already passed all the earlier stages. What was weird is that they didn't ask me anything about my past work, a case study, or even my presentation, which I thought was odd. I first thought maybe it was some kind of stress test to see how I'd react, so I stayed professional and didn't get into an argument. But nope, that was the actual interview, and my whole performance was judged just on that one meeting. It really made me rethink the company, and I wouldn't suggest them based on how this went down.

First, there's a general aptitude and English test. Once you pass that, you get to pick the department you want to intern in. Then, you'll have a one-on-one chat with the head of that department. They'll tell you about the position and usually ask you to introduce yourself. No technical stuff involved.
