First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Yamaha Motor.
Mechanical Engineer
So the interview process was basically a technical and an HR round, all happening together in the same panel. It was all done through the college placement cell. They mainly asked about my internship and checked how it related to the core subjects I studied.

Mechanical Design Engineer
I had an online interview with four interviewers. They asked me to turn on my webcam at the start, which seemed fine. But then none of them turned theirs on, which felt kinda rude. It felt like a one-way street, not really a back-and-forth. They also sounded pretty condescending, making me doubt myself by the end.
- Can you describe your ability to work effectively in a team?
Mechanical Engineering Intern
The process was quite simple, you don't need to be a genius to answer, just focus, be patient, use logic, and be good at writing, then everything will be fine.
