It was a quick 15-20 minute interview about your past experience, and then there was a yard walk. Don't dress too formally and wear comfy shoes 'cause of the yard walk. The yard walk only happens if they really liked you. They'll go over the basics of what the job entails.

It was a pretty relaxed and easy interview process, more of a chat than a formal interview. They mainly wanted to hear about my past work experience. You should be ready to talk about yourself.

Had a quick phone chat, then an in-person interview. Didn't get the job. This role is clearly grunt work, involving a safety vest. Thankfully, it's not cold-calling sales, though they try to make the big rig leasing industry sound exciting with stats. It's weird a degree is needed for truck inspections or reading scripts on the phone. If you qualify, take it, but keep looking for something better.

I saw the job on a website and applied. Then, I got a call about an interview. They told me the salary for this job and the manager level, which is a promotion. The manager was clear that I'd need to move to get promoted. The next interview was in person at the branch with two people who asked set questions and took notes. After that, I was invited for a half day job shadow. I spent time with the operations manager learning the daily tasks and his role. I also talked with the branch manager about the company overall.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Can you share an instance where you investigated an issue and developed a successful resolution in a prior role?
