I had a call with a recruiter from North Carolina who gave me a lot of info about the job and XPO Logistics. Then, they set up an in-person interview with the manager at the specific location. That interview went pretty well. The manager was interested in how I'd fit into the job, my sales skills, and my work ethic. After that, there's usually another interview and a long aptitude test. I decided not to proceed after the first interview because I felt the role wasn't the best match for my strengths. The interviewer was really helpful in answering my questions about the company, the business, and the culture, which helped me make my decision.

Behavioral Other

The interview process was quickly set up and I was interviewed by 2 upper management employees and the person I would be directly answering to. The interview went smoothly enough and any concerns I had about scheduling were addressed, alibi falsely, but none the less acknowledged. The inconsistency comes from the person to whom I would be directly reporting having already extended an offer to someone, who had accepted, while still conducting interviews, and ultimately resulted in botched communication between different levels of management and hiring myself and another person for only one open position.
