Shift Manager
I have 30 years of experience. I was made redundant and tried to get back into work. Recruiters tried their best, but the HR and management refused to progress my application, even though my experience and knowledge would have been a great support.

Operations Manager
The interview process took forever, like over two months from when the recruiter first reached out until the "final" interview. Everyone I talked to was nice and seemed to want to hire the right person, but the follow-up was super slow, usually a week or more between chats, and I felt like I had to chase them for updates. I interviewed with five different managers, which got pretty old. They kept saying the next interview was the "final" one, but then another would pop up. I get they want to be sure, but it felt like they weren't organized. Maybe it's because the division I was applying to was just spun off, which could explain some of it. After the last supposed "final" interview, I heard nothing for over a week, so I figured I didn't get it. It took me bugging multiple people multiple times to even get confirmation that I didn't get the job. So, even if you've made it pretty far with them, don't assume you're getting the offer. They seem like good people, just maybe a bit unsure.
