I had a phone screen with HR. Then I had a face-to-face interview with the Director and VP. It was a standard interview that turned into more of a conversation. It took a while to hear back but I eventually got an offer.

The interview went very well, actually so well the hiring manager hired me on the spot - I interviewed with three of their management team and after about a day or so I received a call from their HR Generalist in Arizona (Maureen), to discuss benefits, salary and start date. After going through the motions with her, I learned the average manager has to pay-out an average $165.00 per week to carry their insurance (which is astronomical!!) and when I asked about their vacation benefits, they turned down my three week vacation request. After 30 minutes in the discussion I learned they use to have a bonus program in October, 2015 and when XPO purchased this private logistics company they stopped the bonus plan immediately. Overall, this company is a joke. The salary offered to me was $100K annually, however, by the time you pay out of pocket for your insurance which would be $8580.00 a year and the deductibles are higher than the norm as well. HOWEVER...after eight days I received a call from Maureen to learn this job had been cancelled....OMG...really, I've never heard of this happening before and I've been a QM for over 20 years now!! Good thing I never discussed I was leaving with my previous company, or I'd be in the unemployment line today!!! Whoever, applies please be VERY careful!!

First, they reviewed my CV and cover letter. Then I had an online interview with the HR manager. After that, I completed some online maths and english ability tests. The process finished with a two-day assessment center hosted by the company. The whole thing took about 3 months.
