HR Administrator
It's a 2 step interview where two people will ask you questions from your CV and you'll need to answer competency based questions. This seems to sum up a usual interview process and they are looking for where you have demonstrated skills
- Can you tell me your name and where you live?
HR Assistant
I applied online through a staffing agency, and they called me for an interview in less than a week. The first step was a phone screening with the agency, after which they said they'd let me know in a few days if I'd be interviewing with the company. I actually got called back the same afternoon and was asked to come in the next day. The next day, I interviewed with the HR Manager for about 20 minutes, and then she sent me to another HR Manager's office. I spoke with the second HR Manager for about 10 minutes and was told I'd hear back quickly. I called the recruiter as requested after the interview, and she said the HR Manager liked what she heard. A month later, I got an email saying I wasn't selected, with no call or feedback. It's frustrating when you prepare quickly for an interview and don't even get an explanation.
- Can you tell me about the work in your previous role that you found most satisfying?
Human Resources Generalist
So I started with a Recruiter, and they mentioned there would be 5 phone interviews. After 4 of them, I hadn't heard back for about a week, so I tried reaching out to the Recruiter. Turns out, they were on Vacation. I also tried contacting the last person I interviewed with, but still no response. All the phone interviews were pretty standard, and the people were nice. But, from an HR point of view, the communication afterwards was a bit disappointing.
- Were there questions about your human resources background and experience?
