Executive Assistant
The interview process began with a phone screening to determine if I would move forward. They asked about my availability for an in-person meeting, but the scheduled time wasn't within the options I provided. The recruiter was brief and didn't share much information. The next interview was a Zoom call with a friendly interviewer. They asked me to discuss my resume without specific prompts, inquire about my preferred work-life balance, and describe the daily responsibilities of the role. I felt the interview went well and was optimistic. After sending a thank-you note, I received a brief explanation for not being selected.
- What is your ideal work-life balance?
- How do you perform under pressure?
- Rate your ability to work in a fast-paced setting on a scale of 1 to 10.
Office Administrator
This was a long interview process, likely due to short staffing. It wasn't a difficult interview, with several standard and straightforward questions. The environment felt relaxed, and there wasn't even a receptionist. I met with both the recruiter and some business leaders, and the whole thing took over an hour. The offered pay range was on the lower side, and the benefits seemed pretty average. They also used a personality assessment which led to some interesting questions during the interview.
- How would you handle a specific situation?
Office Administrator
I had a phone screen and then a face-to-face interview. The communication was good, and the recruiter was polite and responsive. The office seemed like a good place to work. I was given a couple of days between the phone screening and the interview to prepare. I received feedback within a week. It was one of the better interview experiences I've had.
