First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at XPO.
Pricing Analyst
There were two rounds of interviews with people from the department. The second round focused on situational questions, while the first round was more about getting to know your background. Usually, a director, an HR person, and managers were involved, and you'd also have an initial chat with a recruiter.
- What's your approach when a customer's current pricing isn't enough to keep their business?
Analyst
I applied for a job on LinkedIn. Then the recruiter had me interview for that role and another one. It was a little hectic because I was trying to figure out who was interviewing for which job title, and the person covering for the recruiter didn't always provide clear info. I thought the job I applied for was the one with the other group of interviewers, so it was tough to keep track. But everything went fine!
- Can you tell me about your strengths and weaknesses?
Senior Analyst
It was a 5 step process. First, a written test with SQL and Analytical questions. Then, two technical interviews. The first one had scenario based questions and a discussion on the approach used for the first test. The second technical interview followed. After that, there was a Managerial Round and finally an HR Discussion.
- SQL Questions covering Employee Manager and Basic SQL Concepts
- Modeling Questions on creating a data model for a business problem
- Analytical Questions including a statistical question and basic maths
