During the XP Inc regular internship process, a phone screening with an AI was requested, but there was an option to decline the AI and do a video interview instead, without penalizing the candidate. In this video interview, you will have 3 minutes to talk about yourself, why you chose this role, why you chose XP, mention sports or personal activities, talk about your experiences, and your professional dreams.

After the video interview, I was contacted by the manager almost 3 weeks later. It was a very relaxed interview where they asked about my knowledge and explained a lot about the role and the next steps. The following week, I had an interview with someone from the team who wanted to get to know me and asked a lot of questions about me. After another week, I had a final interview with HR, which was the most relaxed, where they only asked about my objectives, why I chose XP, and if the salary made sense to me.

They were nice at first, the first step was a case study (SDG). My group and I prepared a lot beforehand as requested. The group had 4 people, the other 2 only showed up for the presentation. In the end, they disqualified the person who did the most work and qualified the other two who did nothing. There were other groups too, and they placed people on the day of the presentation, and for others, they literally swapped everyone out. I made it to the second phase, what a mess. They sent me the interview day for 9 AM, I had to miss school for an important presentation to close the term. I asked if they could reschedule, but they said it was impossible. On the interview day, they sent me an email confirming the interview for 9 AM with the interviewer's name and Teams link. It was online, and I waited 20 minutes or more. When I asked what happened, they changed my time last minute to 2:30 PM. I couldn't pass because I was very demotivated and anxious due to everything that was happening. It was embarrassing for my first job application. By the way, the interviewer explained the area of work and said I'd be serving clients, which is not related to the advertised data analysis role.
