I wanted to share my experience interviewing for a Senior Java Developer role in Pune. The process was quite straightforward. I had two technical rounds: one by phone and then a face-to-face interview, both focused on Java. After these, HR contacted me saying I was shortlisted and that I'd receive a salary distribution email the same day. She called a few times for my details and asked me to confirm them via email reply. However, I never received the email or any further calls. I tried following up multiple times, but she didn't answer my calls or emails. My advice is to at least provide feedback, considering candidates spend a full day on interviews. Share any issues found with the profile and be sure about the hiring decision before giving feedback.

I got the call from the recruiter for the interview, which was on a weekend. Once I reached the office, I had to get a visitor pass, which took about 10 minutes per person due to OTP verification. It ended up taking me 45 minutes because of the queue. There were about 50 candidates overall with only 3 panels. They randomly shortlisted some people for a coding test that lasted 1 hour and 30 minutes, while others went directly to interviews. After the coding round, my interview was finally at 5:30 pm. Then, they said the HR wasn't available and they would schedule my interview over a call. I'm still waiting for that, and after multiple follow-ups, there's no response from the recruiter. It was a total waste of time. Pros: Breakfast and tea were provided multiple times. Cons: Poor management, only a few panels for 50 candidates, waste of time.

The whole thing took me about 2 weeks. First, there was a 30-minute phone call that was technical, mainly covering Java basics, collections, and design patterns. Then, I had a face-to-face with a manager, which was more technical-managerial, focusing on my past experience with Javascript, jQuery, and Angular, plus some basic Java questions. This lasted over an hour. After that, a quick 10-minute HR chat about salary expectations and background stuff. The next step was a client technical interview where I had to design and implement a Single Page App using Angular and Spring, including design patterns and some basic Java and collections questions. Finally, there was an onshore client interview focused on Javascript closures.
