First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Xoriant.
DevOps Engineer
This was a waste of time. They assigned an associate to interview me for a lead role, and they lacked basic communication skills. They had a list of pre-written questions and just went through them one by one, not reacting to my answers and just saying 'okay' to everything. They kept interrupting me mid-explanation to ask the next question. I wouldn't recommend this organization; it's a complete waste of time.
- Can you tell me about basic Linux concepts?
- What are your thoughts on basic AWS services?
- Do you have experience with basic Jenkins functionalities?
DevOps Engineer
So, there are 2 rounds total. The first is internal, and the second is with the client. This role is for Citi, and they mentioned that for the first 9 months, you'd work with Xoriant, and then Citi would hire you directly.
- Can you explain the DevOps process and provide real-world examples of using its tools?
SRE/DevOps Engineer
There were 3 rounds in total - 2 core technical rounds and one tech manager round. The first 2 rounds involved good technical discussions on devops tools and processes like AWS, Jenkins, Terraform, and Docker. The third round focused more on SRE processes, monitoring, and scenario-based questions about production outages.
- Tell me about AWS architecture and services such as VPC, Load Balancers, and Security Groups.
- Can you explain your experience with Terraform?
- What are your thoughts on SRE principles and practices?
