Financial Risk Analyst
The interview was supposed to start at 10am but kicked off an hour later at 11am. It began with a company presentation covering what the company does and why it's a good place to work, ending with details on pay and the specific role. Job sites listed salaries from 3.5-5L, but they offered 3.5-4L, with 4L only for night shifts, which was a letdown. The first round was an aptitude test, pretty standard, focusing on speed (30 questions in 45 mins). Next was a case study about the mortgage process with some formulas. The questions involved applying these formulas, most were easy (17-18 out of 20), with only 2-3 tricky ones. It's important to read the case study carefully as interview questions come directly from it. The final round was with HR, with not many questions, mostly based on the case study.
- Were any of the questions difficult or unexpected?
- Did they conduct an in-depth interview on the mortgage industry?
Risk Analyst
The interview process involved an English test first, then a lengthy aptitude test, followed by a video interview and then a personal interview. I wasn't selected in the end. I feel like they don't hire people from Ocwane, Altisource though.
- Can you tell me about the volume of files you handled?
- What was your typical error rate in your previous roles?
- What kind of feedback did you receive in your past positions?
Risk Analyst
First round was a written test, included essay writing and a cognitive ability test. It was moderately difficult. If selected, the next step is an HR interview. After clearing all stages, there's a test for team allocation. Post-allocation, multiple tests determine the team level assignment.
- Could you define Mortgage Loans?
- What is your understanding of US loan programs?
