Hardware Engineer
I got contacted by a recruiter for this role and decided to apply. First, I had a phone screen with the PM where they asked some easy technical questions. After that, they invited me for an onsite interview. I really appreciated this opportunity even though I ended up accepting another offer. The interviewers were friendly and made sure their questions were clear. The entire process was great. It involved one technical phone call with a project manager, followed by an onsite interview which had 3 technical rounds and 1 HR interview.

Hardware Design Engineer
I spoke with the manager for a team first over the phone. It was a mix of getting to know each other and some technical stuff. They mentioned they were looking at several people and would let me know about the next steps. After about a week of not hearing anything, I reached out. They said they'd get back to me soon. Later, I found out they went with other candidates they felt were a better fit. The manager did suggest I apply to other teams, but I haven't heard from anyone else at Xilinx since then.

The interview was just one round. They asked me some questions about my resume and then I had to do a short introduction. After that, there was a technical test, like writing a C program.
