The interview process was smooth and I liked the team, but my experience with HR and the technical recruiter was the worst. They were unresponsive and didn't provide updates on my interview outcome. I was close to an offer from another company, but Xilinx was my top choice. I followed up with the recruiter multiple times over three weeks and never heard back. I ended up accepting another offer. I found their lack of communication unprofessional and unethical. They should have at least informed me of their decision. I would not consider working for a company with such practices, and I regret that the executives won't be aware of this negative experience.

Behavioral Technical Presentation
A referral got me into this. The regional sales manager and an FAE met me for a lunch interview, which was a bit tricky for focusing on behavioral questions. Later that same day, the hiring manager called to ask technical questions while I was commuting. This led to an in-person interview where I had to prepare a 45-minute presentation on a new product, which took over 60 hours of my time. While I learned a lot, the follow-up was poor and the rejection email was informal, which felt unprofessional given the effort involved. I'll still be a Xilinx user, though.
