First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Xerox.
Account Manager
I found the job online and applied that way. They got back to me and we had an initial phone chat about me and why I wanted to work there. It was pretty straightforward, but it felt like the interviewer hadn't read my resume. Then I had to do a video interview where I recorded myself answering questions so they could check out my speaking style and if I get nervous. Lastly, I went on-site for a final interview where five different people interviewed me separately using behavioral type questions.
- Why do you really want to work here?
- You have to really sell it here.
Account Supervisor
So the interview process has 3 stages in total. First you talk to HR and answer simple questions about the role. Then you talk to your immediate boss and you really need to be prepared about the job description. Lastly, you talk to the manager of the area, and they want to be sure that you are a good match for the company. The whole process lasts about 3 weeks.
- What makes you want to join this company?
Account Manager
After applying online, I had a pre-phone screening, then I had to complete a sales aptitude test. Following that, there was a face-to-face interview that included role-playing scenarios. I was offered the job on the spot after I passed the sales role play. Note that the process can differ depending on the sales agency you choose to work with.
- Can you describe a situation where you encountered adversity and explain how you managed to overcome it?
