Software Developer
The HR interviewer was really nice and patient. They asked typical questions about me and working on a team, what makes me a good fit for the role, and my work experience. We also got to ask them questions, especially about the setup.
- Can you tell me about your work experience?
- How do you work in a team?
- What are your strengths?
Recruiting Associate
This was a really unusual interview process. They actually asked for my ACT scores from high school, even though I graduated years ago and have a college degree. I'm not sure why that's relevant or how I'm even supposed to have that info. It honestly felt like a data-mining attempt. The CEO's demeanor during the interview was also quite aggressive, like he was trying to trip me up. The whole vibe was just off. They didn't even bother sending a rejection email afterward, which was really unprofessional and made the whole experience feel sketchy, almost like a scam.
- The CEO focused intensely on one small detail from my resume, ignoring broader questions about my duties.
- The CEO seemed to have an arrogant attitude, acting superior to others.

I went through 3 rounds of interviews. The first one was with an Ops Associate, and it was super short, like under 5 minutes. Then I had a 20-minute chat with the manager. The final round was with the Director of Operation and lasted about an hour. All the interviews were pretty smooth and communicative, and it wasn't too difficult.
- What makes you stand out compared to other applicants?
Digital Marketing Specialist
It was a nightmare. They had me join a meeting room with 6 people from different departments and the CEO. It was weird for an entry-level role at a small company to have so many interviewers. They asked a lot of deep questions about my past experience and very technical marketing questions. Some questions were totally random though. The company culture felt really uptight; the CEO seemed like he had a big ego and the employees appeared nervous around him. To top it off, I had to take a test that felt like the SAT/GRE, which I don't see how it relates to digital marketing. After an hour on the test, they didn't even send a rejection email.
- Can you elaborate on your previous experience?
- Do you have any questions regarding marketing?
