This is feedback about Xebia for those looking to join. I applied for a PM position and the job description matched. Despite seeing negative reviews, I decided to see for myself. The first round was a basic technical interview for PM/Scrum Master. The second round, however, included questions for multiple roles like SM, PM, Delivery Manager, architect, Admin, Deployment Admin, and Repo Manager. Even though I applied for PM and the other roles were out of scope, I had some knowledge and answered. This was the first red flag. I then asked about their expectations and cultural fit, and learned they weren't actually looking for a PM but a jack-of-all-trades with hands-on responsibilities and undefined KRAs. We should define KRAs for each role and keep people in their domains for better efficiency and productivity. We are professionals, not laborers.

The interview was good with lots of technical and scenario-based questions. It was a long interview but conducted really well. The interviewer was very open and honest, which made me feel comfortable answering transparently.

Behavioral

I spoke with a recruiter about the job, and they then scheduled an interview with the hiring manager. The interview was set for 9:30 PM, which I thought was a bit odd, but I went ahead with it since the hiring manager was calling from overseas. When the scheduled time arrived, I waited for more than 15 minutes and didn't get a call. That was the last straw, and I decided not to pursue any other roles with this company.
