Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Xebia.
DevOps Engineer
There were three technical rounds. Depending on your performance in a round, you'll be considered for the next one. They give you a sheet to rate yourself in areas like Linux/Windows, and the interview is driven by that. The only weird thing is their salary structure.
- Questions related to S3, Linux, and EC2 were asked, so you should be good with the basics.
DevOps Consultant
The interview experience was quite relaxed and friendly, and the person I spoke with was knowledgeable and straightforward. They wanted to understand my motivations for wanting to join Xebia and my specific interest in this company.
- Could you share your background and technical competencies?
- How would you rate your proficiency in the required skills?
- What was the scope of your past management experience regarding team size?
Devops Engineer
There were quite a few rounds for a fresher, but they were very thorough and beneficial. The interviewer focused on assessing how you'd tackle any given problem, rather than just looking for a specific correct answer, which was a plus.
- Questions covered data structures,
- operating systems, and how you approach problems.
- The interviewer was interested in your problem-solving methodology.
