The interview process included an initial hr interview, followed by a discussion with the technical team. After that, there was a take-home challenge, which was fairly straightforward. It involved building a component using a basic API and then displaying it on a webpage. No live coding was part of the process.

Behavioral Technical Coding

The interviewer asked me several questions about myself. Then, they asked some technical questions about software engineering, like different types of algorithms and polymorphism. They also asked about the tools I've used to build applications before. Finally, there were some soft skill questions. The interviewer was really friendly. Overall, the interview was split evenly between technical and personality/soft skill questions.

Behavioral Coding Technical Presentation

The interview had three main parts. First, an intro chat with the head of development covering my background, skills, and goals. Then, I was asked to do a coding challenge, basically building a small app from given requirements in my own time. Finally, a technical interview with two senior/lead engineers to go over the coding challenge, discuss tech, and check my skills, with some behavioral questions thrown in. (Oh, and I had an extra informal chat with the head of dev later to ask more stuff that popped into my head after the last interview, which was nice of them.)

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Regarding the coding challenge, can you explain your design choices and how you'd extend it later?
