The interview was mainly about getting to know the lay of the land with the interviewer, but still focused on an actual interview. It took a while, about 45 minutes, plus a second interview with the manager once I finished with the recruiter.
- Tell me about the values you live your life by.

I interviewed in January and they said I would be a good fit. They emailed me a package to sign, but I haven't heard back since. Kind of bummed out.
- Have you ever been to Glacier park?

The interview was pretty straightforward, and the HR person was super nice and easy to talk to. They set up our chat on RingCentral after texting to confirm a time that worked. Since I've got a lot of experience in what I applied for, we mostly talked about the practicalities of working and living in the park, and briefly touched on whether I'd prefer a fancy or a more laid-back dining spot. They asked a couple of usual questions about handling unhappy customers. I got the job offer right then on the phone.
- Can you share an instance where you dealt with a disgruntled customer and how you managed to fix the situation?
- In your opinion, what's the key trait for someone in a customer-facing job?
