I was first contacted for an interview, but it was done through a tablet with questions about technical problems, which seemed more for a technical support role than QA Analyst. I wasn't contacted after that, even though I followed up a lot. I eventually gave up hoping for the position. Three months later, I was invited for an in-person interview at their location, where I met with three Department Managers. They asked me about software I've used for debugging code, specifically mentioning FireBug from Mozilla. Despite my programming and technical background, I wasn't offered the job. They took three months to reject me. I was willing to take a fast-food job because I needed to support my family, which I mentioned briefly. I was really unhappy with their lack of professionalism and how they didn't seem to care about that at all.

First up was this video interview thingy where a recorded HR person asked stuff and you had to record yourself answering on your device. It felt super weird and honestly, kind of inappropriate for someone already working here internally and going for a management role. After that, the second interview was more typical, like a standard in-person group interview.

It was a chill interview with the manager, team lead, and an HR person. They asked standard interview questions and I showed my skills for the job. It was pretty easy. I got an offer a few days later and took it. They were cool about the start date and let me wrap things up at my old job first.
