Behavioral Technical Coding

First, a recruiter call with behavioral questions to assess background and senior-level behavior. Then, a technical assessment with medium-level questions and answers only. It's more of a conversation with another programmer to understand your foundation. Finally, an interview with the client, which depends on whether the client requests it. Sometimes it's just a conversation, sometimes it's technical. Usually, it's just conversations.

Behavioral Technical

The company, which develops software for various clients, has an interview process that begins with a screening interview. They really value English communication skills. In the first interview, they asked about my background, technical skills, and project experience. They also asked some situational and behavioral questions to check my communication ability. Unfortunately, I didn't make it to the next round because my spoken English wasn't fluent enough. The whole process felt straightforward and professional.

Behavioral Technical Coding

A recruiter emailed me about the Senior Full-Stack Engineer position with one of their clients. The first part of the interview involved a technical assessment. This assessment had four parts: 1. A video question about my experience. 2. DSA fundamentals. 3. Questions about the tech stack we'd be using. 4. An essay on the primary technology for the project. I sent in my assessment but didn't get any feedback, even after checking in with the recruiter.

Behavioral Technical Coding

It felt like they were just farming CVs, constantly posting the same job on LinkedIn. I spent a lot of time on their take-home assessment. Then they'd schedule a meeting, say I was perfect for a client, and offer much less than what's paid in the US. After that, they'd just ghost me, and the job never seemed to actually open up. It's strange to post openings without a client, and it's been months with no updates on their site.

  • Can you share your professional background?
  • Tell me about a time you gave and received feedback.
  • What are the differences between structs and classes?
