Facilities Engineer
A recruiter reached out to me and the whole thing was over in under a week. It started with the hiring manager telling me about the company and what they needed for the job. Then, we chatted about my past work that fit the role. It was a really nice chat, like we were just swapping stories about what we'd done. The hiring manager was super chill. They didn't grill me with hard technical stuff, mostly just asked how I handled problems or disagreements before. I got an offer a few days later with good pay, but I ended up taking another job that was closer to home.
- Can you describe how you've handled conflicts with your subordinates previously?
- What are your aspirations for your career?
- Could you share your past experiences relevant to this position?
Research Scientist
I applied through a job posting. I got an interview confirmation via email and a phone call. The first phone interview was with the hiring manager, which was a very positive discussion. I was informed that other interviews were happening at the same time and I'd be contacted in a few weeks if there was a need for further discussions. I was contacted about a month later, and a second onsite interview was scheduled, involving meetings with several people from different disciplines. It was again very positive. An offer was presented another month later, which was very competitive and an excellent package.
- Could you share an instance of a challenging situation you faced?
Analyst
I had a phone screening with the recruiter, and then the next day they set up an interview for the following morning with the manager. The interview lasted about 40 minutes. After that, I met with some other people who work at the company. The atmosphere was really professional and everyone was super friendly. I got the job offer the very next day, and I didn't really push back on the negotiation much. I started the job about two weeks after that.
- How would you handle a situation in a meeting where someone doesn't grasp your explanation?
- Can you recall your best workday in the past three months and explain why it was the best?
Project Manager
The interview process involved a recruiter call, phone screen, technical screen, and an onsite interview. There was a negative interaction during the process where the interviewer displayed a bad attitude when I attempted to gather more information about the working methods of their major competitors.
- Could you walk me through the step-by-step process for initiating a study within your company?
