Behavioral Presentation

The interview process started with a standard HR call to discuss salary and requirements, and everyone seemed to be on the same page. Things moved quickly after that, but after 4 rounds and a mock presentation, the momentum stopped, and it felt like they were just stringing me along. For about two months, HR claimed key decision-makers were on vacation. It became clear I was being kept on the backburner when the job description changed online. I was finally told they liked me but wanted to offer a lower title and pay me $30k less than my stated requirements. They cited a lack of specific experience, which I possess and is reflected on my resume, yet this was never discussed during the interviews. It's baffling why a company would offer a salary significantly below a candidate's stated needs, essentially setting up a situation where the candidate would be a flight risk from day one for a better opportunity. My salary expectations were in line with previous roles in the same city, and such a substantial pay cut would have made me feel undervalued. The entire experience felt like a waste of time and effort, and the operational sloppiness was a major red flag. If this is how they treat potential employees, I can only imagine the internal operations.

What a horrible experience! The recruiter, I had to try twice to get her on the phone. The first phone call was an intro call with the Corp. Recruiter, which I missed. She asked me to reschedule. I didn't, because the automated calendar thing didn't work at first. I had to email her for another link. Then, on the scheduled Second Phone Call Day, she didn't call me. She blew it off. I called to follow up. She said, 'people get busy...' I didn't want to reschedule. Then, she schedules an in person interview with FIVE PEOPLE! The first was the Agency General Manager, dressed casually. He asked random questions. The second was a phone interview with a British man who asked me to remind him who I was and what job I was interviewing for. Then, there were 2 more interviews. Then, the recruiter came back and said the Manager of the Yawn & Bore Department was busy and I could go home. I left in amazement and relief. Then, the recruiter emailed me saying the phone interview tomorrow with Ms. XYZ is cancelled. Can you believe these people? I couldn't tell if the first meeting was a date or a job interview. My advice? Avoid these people. UNPROFESSIONAL, RUDE, DISCOURTEOUS, AND CRAZY. Don't let my experience be yours. Also, the front lobby has crazy plaster cartoon statues.

Behavioral Case Presentation

It started with a 30min phone screen with a recruiter, then a 45min video conference with two hiring managers. Next, I had a 45min case interview and presentation with a senior leader, followed by a 30min video conference interview with another senior leader. Finally, there was a 30min video conference with a talent leader where they gave me a verbal offer, and then I received the written offer. The whole thing took about 8 weeks. The interviews weren't too tough, and case interviews, while needing prep, were fine by me. I learned a lot I can use later. Everyone was super friendly and positive, making it hard to say no. I'd consider applying again.
