Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Wunderman Thompson.
Video Editor
So the first part was a Zoom call, the interviewers were chill and enthusiastic. After that, I had to edit a sample clip from a corporate video. Then I went in for a second interview, in person this time. I was kinda nervous but everyone was super genuine and nice, especially about the pay. They offered me the job about a week after that.
- Can you introduce yourself and tell me a bit about who you are?
- What's your availability to start?
Content Editor
I had an initial interview with HR, where they gave me the job description in detail, salary, benefits, and work setup; we talked about my experience and I had an oral English test. The next interview was directly with the content manager and we went deeper into the role.
- Why did you choose Wunderman?
- What work have you done?
- What is your English level?
Copy Editor
The process was very long and drawn out. Too many interviews and tests, which is tiring and demotivating, especially when you are a qualified person with a CV that demonstrates your aptitude for the position, with a bachelor's, postgraduate, and master's degree. So many tests and interviews were unnecessary.
- Personal questions that don't relate to the role.
