Compensation Analyst
It started with a phone screen and then a super day with five interviews back-to-back. We did two case analyses, one on IPOs compared to a company and the other on compensation, involving describing data sets and finding trends, relationships, and correlations. There were also two behavioral interviews, one with specific scenarios and another with general questions, plus a personality assessment.
- Can you explain this dataset and what it represents, particularly regarding financial and stock information?
- Regarding specific scenarios, how would you perform and manage your time in this situation?
Compensation Analyst
I applied through my university and got selected for an on-campus interview with a senior member of the Atlanta team. It was about 30 minutes and mostly behavioral. I heard back maybe around 1-2 weeks after the on-campus interview to go to the Atlanta office for the final round which consisted of 5 behavioral interviews.
- Can you tell me about a project where you did a lot of data analysis and management?
Compensation Analyst
I applied through the university career portal and the whole thing took 4 weeks. It started with an on-campus round with a senior consultant, which was mostly behavioural questions. We actually ended up talking more about our travels than the job itself. The last part was an on-site interview with 5 rounds, each with a consultant or manager. These were mainly behavioural too, with each round focusing on a specific part of my resume. I'd really suggest knowing your resume inside out and just being yourself because everyone at the firm is super nice and just wants to see if you'd be a good fit for the team.
- Why are you interested in this firm?
- Why are you interested in this role?
- Can you describe a situation where you faced a conflict within a team?
