First, I had a pre-screen call with the recruiter. Then, I had a 1-hour online interview with three senior managers from the team. After that, there was a 2-hour in-person interview with three other senior managers, which included a visit to the office. Finally, I got a call for a verbal offer.

The selection process for the Analyst role involved two main parts: first, a phone interview to check the basic stuff, and second, an in-person interview to go deeper into skills and see if I'd be a good fit for the team. I got the job offer about a month after the in-person interview.

Behavioral Case Technical

Went through a selection process that took a bit less than 2 months. It started with an online assessment with behaviour questions and capabilities assessment. Then, three rounds of interviews were conducted, all with the team. The EC team is regional, so I met employees from the Netherlands (one senior, one mid-level) and also from abroad (one senior, one mid-level). The second interview was case specific. The decision-makers were hesitant from the start but didn't let on, letting me complete the whole process before making a unilateral decision. They rejected me for being overqualified and scoring too high on competencies, despite lacking expertise in Executive Compensation, for a role that requires no specific expertise and from a firm that 'strives for excellence'. They mentioned they wished I had scored lower on the assessment, which they joked would have given me a better chance. I wouldn't apply again or recommend it.

  • Have you worked in a team before?
