First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at WSP.
Project Coordinator
I had an interview with the project manager, then with the project director. Everything went well until someone from HR took over communication and negotiation.
- Tell me about your project management experience.
Proposal Coordinator
The interview was on MS Teams with the hiring manager. It was about an hour-long, and we hit it off. I received an email from the Talent Acquisition Specialist about a week later stating that he was asked to write up an offer letter and congratulated me. Further, in that same email, he explained the salary, hours, RSP, stocks etc., he then proposed a start date. I then sent back an email saying that I would accept the compensation and the start date was perfect. After a few days, I had to follow up with him because I hadn't seen an offer. I then got an email from him saying they decided to take a coordinator from another department and that this need has been fulfilled.
- Can you introduce yourself and describe how your colleagues would characterize you?
- How would other coworkers describe you?
Project Coordinator
The interview involved behavioral questions. They asked about my background and projects I've worked on. The environment was very easy and relaxing. The interview was conducted by high professionals or Project Leads, likely the immediate supervisor and the Project Lead as panelists. HR was not involved.
- Can you tell me about yourself, your passions, your past experiences, and what you bring to the table? Also, what software have you used previously?
- Describe the steps you would take when you need information urgently and are on a deadline.
