Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at WSFS Financial.
Intern
It took me a bit over a month to get through this. First, I had a recruiter interview, which was basically to go over my resume and ask some basic questions. I heard back within a week. Then, I had an interview with the hiring manager, and it took two weeks to hear back after that.
- Can you tell me about your resume?
Intern
The interview process was pretty basic with a bunch of normal questions. It was behavioral and technical, but didn't require much in terms of specific finance technical skills. I would recommend this interview process.
- Can you tell me about your best skills?
Intern
I had 2 interviews. The first was at their corporate HQ in Wilmington, DE and the second was at their cash connect location in Newark, DE. Both interviews went well and I thought I was a good fit. However, their follow up was extremely unprofessional. They sent a generic we went with another candidate email. It mentioned that 'I was debriefed by the team you interviewed with' so basically I was rejected by someone I hadn't even met. At the end of the email it said, Sincerely, and no name. It was extremely unprofessional that I have no idea who sent the email or that they didn't care to review it a second time. Everything had been fine up until that final email. I'm not upset I didn't get the job, just upset with how it was handled.
- Can you share an instance where you had to make a decision and describe the outcome of that decision?
